My Mother Had Two Faces: Reflections on Beauty, Aging and Acceptance

Karin's one-woman show makes its world premiere at the beautiful Zephyr Theatre in Hollywood on December 10th! Created, written and performed by Karin, this autobiographical fable dares to expose what lies beneath the mask of the perfect mother. Plans for a US tour are in the works!


Three A.M.

Karin's film directorial debut "Three A.M." hits the film festival circuit, garnering several awards. Committed to creating opportunities for women-centered storytelling, she's in pre-production for her next project, scheduled to shoot in January 2024.


MY BODY NO CHOICE: This Is A Time When Women Need To Tell Their Stories

Karin is honored to be involved in this powerhouse line up of writers and actors in support of reproductive rights. Originally commissioned by Arena Stage, Washington DC, 8 playwrights share what choice means to them through the telling of personal stories. Presented by Open Theatre Project.


ACTING WITH THE GODS!

A passion for theater of the antiquities led Karin to Greece for the opportunity of a lifetime, performing the titular role in Euripides’ Phaedra. Directed by Fanis Katehos of Fabrica Athens at the open air Hydrama Theatre Festival.


Neurodiversity Everywhere!: Spring 2022 Tour

Karin returns to the stage with Spectrum Ensemble Theatre in the world premiere of "Light Switch" by Dave Osmundsen playing Mama bear to an autistic, gay man navigating the challenges of dating and relationships.


IPHIGENIA AMONG THE TAURIANS

Karin was thrilled to reunite with Newton Theatre Company for a 4th season performing outdoor Greek drama as the evil King Thoas in Iphigenia Among the Taurians.


RIPTA VANPOOL

Karin showcases her comedy chops as a full-out “Karen” for a Rhode Island Public Transportation Authority spot produced by Steer Films.


BE HAPPY; BE HEARD PODCAST

Original radio plays produced by the Lau Lapides Company in conjunction with Staples. In these audio comedies Karin voices a mythical siren, a femme fatale, and a Russian spy. 


LAST TIME AT LIAM’S

"Last Time at Liam’s" snags 1st place win at the Chelmsford Short Film Festival.

Karin plays a mother whose parenting is put to the test when her son becomes influenced by online hate groups.


JENNY MUST DIE

Playing Clytemnestra aka “Clio – a real housewife of Argos” in this comedic retelling of “Iphigenia in Aulis” for 2020 Playwrights Platform 48th Festival of New Plays. 

Fun Fact - in 2018 Karin played King Agamemnon in an all-female version of the Euripides Tragedy.


LILY OF THE VALLEY

Recurring role in web series as the newly divorced, wise-cracking best friend Trudy. “Lily of the Valley” was a finalist in the Blow-Up Chicago International Film Fest 2020.

COUGHING WHILE ASIAN

RECOVERY

In this moving story of addiction and treatment, Karin takes on the role of Shelly, an Irish mother struggling to keep her daughter off the streets and into rehab.
